Garage Door Installation Warranty Coverage
When we install a new garage door, we warranty our workmanship and labor for the time listed on your invoice. Coverage begins on the installation date.
The garage door manufacturer provides a separate warranty for the door and its components. In some cases, Precision Garage Door may extend coverage beyond the manufacturer’s terms. Your invoice lists the specific warranty period for each item.
If we identify defective workmanship, we correct it at no labor charge. If a covered part fails, we repair or replace it based on the warranty terms listed on your invoice. Service charges may apply.
If no warranty period appears on the invoice, coverage defaults to 90 days.
Garage Door Repair Warranty
When we repair an existing garage door, we warranty both parts and workmanship supplied by Precision Garage Door.
If a covered part or repair fails, we fix or replace it at no cost for parts or materials. If repair is not possible, we provide a replacement. Warranty length varies by item and appears on your invoice. A service charge may apply.
Warranty Coverage Period and Eligibility
Coverage begins once installation or repairs are complete. This warranty applies only to the original customer and cannot transfer to a new owner.
If the home or garage door changes ownership, coverage ends immediately. Labor coverage lasts for the warranty period listed on the invoice for each item.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty becomes void if anyone other than the authorized Precision Garage Door franchisee performs work on a covered part.
Coverage does not include:

Work or materials provided by unauthorized service providers

Manufacturer exclusions listed in the door manufacturer’s warranty

Incidental or consequential damages, including personal injury or property damage

Cable displacement, misalignment, or disconnection

Damage caused by abuse, misuse, civil disturbances, or Acts of God

Commercial garage door installations or repairs
Some states limit exclusions for incidental or consequential damages. These exclusions may not apply in every location.
